UNDERSTANDING THE COURT ORDERS

Supreme Court Orders on Jaypee Homebuyers

Bought a flat in Jaypee Wish Town? Understand what the Supreme Court’s orders may mean for your claim, refund, allotment request and property-related documentation.

Jaypee Infratech’s insolvency proceedings and the implementation of its resolution plan have affected homebuyers in different ways. The practical implications depend on your payment history, whether and when you filed a claim, the unit involved and the specific directions applicable to your matter.

This guide explains important developments in plain language. It is intended to help homebuyers organise their records and identify the questions they may need to discuss with their legal adviser.

Property valuation and supporting documentation are separate from legal representation or a decision on your claim.

ADDITIONAL CLAIM WINDOW

Opportunity to submit certain refund or flat-allotment claims

The Court allowed homebuyers who had not yet raised their claims to put their cases before Suraksha Realty Limited by 5 December 2025. The order called for a public announcement and warned that no further extension would be granted.

The subsequent clarification dated 7 November 2025 stated that the order did not impose an obligation on the successful resolution applicant to consider all belated allotment claims.

CONNECTED HOME-BUYER MATTERS

The Court clarified the treatment of certain late claims

In its order, the Court stated that homebuyers whose claims were submitted after 10 October 2024 but before 5 December 2025 under the relevant offer would be entitled only to refunds of amounts paid, and not to claim allotment of a flat or unit at that late stage.

The order also disposed of or dismissed specified connected appeals and applications. The outcome must be read in the context of the particular appeal, claim timeline and offer recorded by the Court.

CLAIM DOCUMENTATION

Why claim records and payment evidence still matter

The public announcement issued by Jaypee Infratech on 6 November 2025 referred to the additional refund-request window and its stated deadline. Buyers should retain their submitted requests, supporting documents and any acknowledgement or response.

Because the announced deadline has passed, do not assume that a new claim can be submitted under the same window. Obtain advice on your specific circumstances and check for any later applicable order or direction.

The dates and outcomes above concern specified proceedings and claim windows. Your available options may depend on the exact order, filing history, resolution-plan terms and any subsequent directions. Consult a qualified insolvency or property lawyer for legal advice.
